Perfect Care Nursing Founder & CEO Joanna Fuller-Crawford was recently featured on CityBiz’s C-Suite Interviews. In the wide-ranging interview, she discusses how she founded her company, the challenges and opportunities of running a business with her family, as well as how reaching early milestones with Perfect Care inspired her to keep encouraging people into STEM careers, particularly nursing. 

Joanna is a seasoned Registered Nurse, with a BS in nursing, an MBA and more than 20 years of nursing and in-home care experience. 

She founded Perfect Care Nursing, inspired by her grandmother, Anna Waters. Anna was a self-made home healthcare nurse who became a Licensed Practical Nurse despite numerous barriers she faced. Joanna learned the value of education and the value of providing care to those in need through her grandmother, and now she pours those values into her business and community work. 

Before dedicating herself to Perfect Care Nursing, Joanna worked as an emergency room technician at Grady Hospital, an in-home nurse and as the clinical manager for a Fortune 500 dialysis clinic. She brings all of this expertise to bear when hiring and training Perfect Care Nursing’s care providers, assessing patients’ needs, working with families, and leading the company.

She’s a leader and inspirational speaker who can speak to diverse audiences about diet – especially the lessons she learned after a decade working in a dialysis clinic – as well as the importance of exercise, self-care, self-love, and the major gains people can make through personal improvement.
